Meetings of the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board and its advisory committees are open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend and provide comment to the Board or committees through a public comment forum. MPO Board meetings are held in the Collier County Board of County Commissioner’s Chambers and are televised on Collier County Access Television. There are also opportunities for members of the public to serve on a MPO advisory committee (s), please contact the MPO for current citizen vacancies.(click here for a committee application.) The MPO will host several public meetings during the update of the 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), check our Plans and Programs link for updated information.
All public information meetings and meetings of the MPO and advisory committees are transmitted to the local media and news releases are posted on the MPO's calendar on this web site. To access a press release for an advisory and/or MPO related public meeting, go to the calendar and select the appropriate meeting date. All MPO meeting agendas will be placed on the MPO's Web Site seven days in advance of each meeting.
